On the Jewish holiday known for its magic, playfulness, and confusion, join Boston Workers Circle for a spectacular evening of chicken-footed-demons, ancient Jewish folk magic, and enchanted-Russian-forest-dwelling PURIM festivities.
This year's LINE UP:
*7:45 pm* Doors Open
*8 pm* Everyone's favorite Jewish drag troupe TURMOHEL takes the stage for a one-year-anniversary mini set!
*9 pm* The best Boston/Somervilles got to offer: Second Line Social Aid and Pleasure Society Brass Band
*10 pm* A raucous, revolutionary, and radically re-imagined PURIM SHPIL!
*11 pm* DANCE PARTY!!
*1 am* Party end time
Cover is $10-36, sliding scale, and you can pay with cash/check/credit card at the door or online in advance. Nobody will be turned away for lack of funds. 18+. Event is wheelchair accessible.
