Bluebird Bouquets welcomes Carmen's Custom Jars to Assembly Row for our Golden Touch: Vase Decoration and Floral Design Workshop!
Try your hand at decorating your own flower jar with crafter Carmen Allen, owner of Carmen’s Custom Jars. Bring a friend to learn the art of decorating glass with gold leaf embellishment. This fun and stress free activity will have you connecting with others and creating memories. In this beginner friendly workshop, you will learn the steps for embellishing glass with gold leaf & make a beautiful flower vase.
Once your jar is designed, Founder and Florist of Bluebird Bouquets, Haley Cormier, will be guiding participants through building their own small arrangements with blooms specially curated for this workshop. As we guide you through making your own small arrangement, we will provide insights into selecting the right blooms, arranging techniques, and tips for long-lasting flowers.

About Carmen's Custom Jars: Carmen Allen works with youth at a community center during the day and when she’s not working or taking care of her family, she crafts decorative jars and makes hand poured candles. It all started after a bad experience with postpartum depression, but she found a beautiful outlet through her jars and candle making. Carmen’s jars are upcycled glass that would have otherwise been thrown away-but she uses them to make rustic flower vases and ethically & locally sourced beeswax candles. She’s most proud of the quality that goes into her pieces and the joy they bring to her customers. Carmen’s Custom Jars is a small one woman business that works out of her home to make small batches of jars and candles filled with love. About Bluebird Bouquets: Haley's passion for floristry began at a young age alongside the caring guidance of her grandmother. To her, flowers tell a story of family, about who we are and where we come from. Today, Bluebird Bouquets shares these meaningful moments with others through thoughtfully crafted floral pieces for life's special moments.

Directions and Parking: Located in Assembly Row along the Fit Row side of the shopping center. Assembly Row’s parking rate structure ensures visitors will always have a place to park. Assembly visitors can park for up to 3 hours for FREE. Longer stays will be charged a nominal, hourly rate. A ticketless gate system has been implemented at each of the garages, which allows for credit/debit card entry and exit. Cards will not be charged before the 3 hour time frame, and your information will be automatically erased once you exit the garage.
We are also accessible via the Assembly stop on the orange line.
Cancellation Policy: You will receive a full refund if we are notified via email at [email protected] no less than 72 hours before the start time of the workshop. You will receive a 50% refund if notified no less than 48 hours before the start time of the workshop. No refund is available for less than 48 hour notice.
