Seven post-show talkbacks have been announced for Shakespeare & Company’s limited run of Golda’s Balcony by William Gibson, which will be presented from February 23 to March 10 in Boston at the Jackie Liebergott Black Box Theatre at the Emerson Paramount Center.
Each talkbacks will occur immediately after the performance, and will each feature an influential figure in Boston’s Jewish community in conversation with the Elliot Norton Award-winning star of the play, Annette Miller. Admission to this talkback is included with your purchase of a ticket to the February 29 performance of Golda's Balcony.
The talkback on February 29 will feature artist, public art advocate, and social entrepreneur, Laura Conrad Mandel, the Executive Director of Boston’s Jewish Arts Collaborative. After graduating Carnegie Mellon University with a degree in Art and English, Mandel became the founding director of alumni and parent relations for the Hillel Jewish University Center of Pittsburgh. She is currently Chair of the Board of the Council of American Jewish Museums, co-chair of the Boston Lyric Stage Advisory Committee, is a member of the MASSCreative Advisory Council, and the JCRC Boston Council. Mandel also writes a regular arts and culture blog for the Times of Israel.
