Godfather 50th Anniversary Wine Dinner at Tonno

Tonno Wakefield will host a ‘Godfather’ themed Feast on Wednesday, October

19th to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the classic film ‘The Godfather.’ The

feast, fit for Don Corleone himself, features an array of dishes and wine that pair perfectly with five scenes from the movie. From a Sicilian cannoli to tomato

sauce with sausage, food plays a dynamic and symbolic role in Francis Ford

Coppola’s epic mob drama. Tonno will take you back to different scenes in the

movie where food played an integral part in ‘The Godfather.’

On the menu for the five-course dinner are dishes such as Antipasto, Lasagna

with bechamel and tomato, Italian sausage and plum tomato sauce, Veal

Marsala (“try the veal…it’s the best in the city…”), Grilled Swordfish with

Potato, Olives, and Capers, Blood Orange Ambrosia, and a Cannoli. Each dish is

paired with a wine designed to enhance the flavors of the meal and make you

feel like the Godfather himself, an offer you can’t refuse.

This event has limited availability. Tickets to the five-course dinner and
