There’s a secret ingredient that makes the best home decor stand out from the pack—accents that captivate. Join us for this laser engraving class to design and craft a beautiful set of etched glass votive holders—the perfect accent for summer dinners. Our Instructor is a maker who specializes in glass etching, who will share some of the tricks he’s learned along the way.


In this class, we will explore the fundamentals of glass etching:
-Using a jig to stabilize the glassware
-Laser taping and other masking techniques
-Ideal laser settings to achieve the best results
-Vector graphics vs. JPEG files


Students should know the basics of Adobe Illustrator or Photoshop in order to create the appropriate files for etching.


At the end of this class, students will know the basics of glass etching techniques.
