The Eliot School of Fine and Applied Arts will be running at a new class for those interested in coding between ages 14-17, beginning January 5 at Curtis Hall Community Center in JP. Join the Girls Who Code sisterhood of supportive peers and role models while exploring computer coding in a fun, friendly environment. Learn about loops, variables, conditions, and functions that form the basis for all programming languages, whether to build a robot, a website or an app. Learn how to use computer science and digital art to impact your community. The curriculum is geared towards girls, but all are welcome to attend. $20 Registration fee, the fee will be refunded at the end of the session for those who complete attendance.
