Nothing is more festive than the family-friendly fun of making a gingerbread house together.
Save yourself from a sticky, messy kitchen by building your house in our function hall. Gingerbread kits from Henry’s are available for purchase at registration, or you may bring your own pre-baked pieces. What else is included: A 10″ x 14″ cake board, royal icing, a selection of decorative candies, sprinkles, and food items to personalize your design, and optional powdered sugar snow for dusting. If you have a specific design idea, please feel free to bring any other edible building materials.
Come in to make your gingerbread house anytime between 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. Decorated houses may be brought home the same day – or you can enter them in the Gingerbread House Contest! Learn more about the contest here.
Plus, all museum visitors can enjoy even more Gingerbread fun with our Gingerbread House Photo Booth and the Sensory Spice Challenge, in the lobby Dec. 7-21.
