The Allston Brighton Food Pantry celebrated 50 years of feeding the community in 2024. We successfully piloted a raised garden bed program in 2023 and won a grant to build more raised garden beds in 2025.
We need your help to assemble new raised garden beds that will feed the community fresh food!
You do not have to be affiliated with a religion to volunteer. We care for the only green space in Brighton Center at the Brighton Allston Congregational Church. Gardening has been proven to:
- Be beneficial for your physical and mental health
- Boost strength, memory and mood
- Calm you after stressful events
- Foster feelings of connection
We have a garden club that is open the public that meets once a month. We always need volunteers every month of the year to help with gardening tasks like planting, raking, weeding, etc.
