Join curatorial fellow Janet O’Brien for a tour of the installation Water Stories in the Islamic and South Asian art galleries. O’Brien will share insights into the diverse ways in which water is experienced in the pictorial world across different cultures. Through the 11 works on display, the visitor will journey to Istanbul, Türkiye; Bukhara, Uzbekistan; Tehran, Iran; Herat and Kabul, Afghanistan; and Rajasthan, India, from the 15th to the 21st century.
