For our third sing along and play together with ukuleles to lyrics and chords projected onto the big wall, we will celebrate with songs from Ireland as it's getting close to St Patricks. So many Irish songs can be played with just three chords, too!
Visit the event website for the song list which includes:
Dirty Old Town
Fields of Athenry
Galway Girl
Ride On
The Wild Rover
Town I Know So Well
We will also include songs by Irish bands, such as The Cranberries, U2, etc.
The library provides the screen projector, light refreshments, and, best of all, freshly popped popcorn. Who can say no to that?
All levels welcome. Plenty of free parking on the street and directly across from the library. Mentioned in the local press: https://caughtindot.com/ukulele-sing-play-along-at-lower-mills-library/
This 2-hour "jam session" is entirely free to participate. We do welcome cash donations towards our own screen projector though.
PS. One of the songs we've included is Charlie on the MTA - you can learn how to play it at our Sat March 2nd workshop "ukulele course for complete beginners" - see the separate event entry.
