Three is the magic number, as we all know from De La Soul, Aladdin, and other unimpeachable sources. Thus, after having completed two successful frozen waterfall hikes in the White Mountains this winter, I'm hoping to finish up the three-pack with one final one. And this trip is how I'm hoping to do it!
The exact waterfall trails are TBD, but Nancy's Cascades, Georgina Falls and Ripley Falls are some prime candidates. Plus, we might stop by one of the waterfalls that are right by/a short walk from the highway, like Sabbaday Falls and Silver Cascade. The worst of winter will have passed by then, but all of the usual and sensible gear-- coat, proper pants, microspikes etc.-- will be required.
