Join us on the Esplanade for the launch of Frost Fit Fitness Series with a free, fun-filled day of orienteering, hot cocoa and other family friendly activities in partnership with Navigation Games and presented by Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts.
Perfect for all ages, this event offers exciting activities like Animal-Orienteering—a scavenger hunt for beginners (3 years old and above) to find animals and learn the basics of map reading—and Score-O, an exciting challenge to locate checkpoints throughout the park using only a map. Race your friends, punch your card, and check your results to see how you did. Adventure awaits—come explore the Esplanade!
No prior experience is required, but participants can learn more about orienteering here. We recommend participants to bring their own water bottle and to dress accordingly keeping in mind that the Esplanade typically feels 10°F cooler than the rest of the city due to the river's breeze. Pre-registration is highly recommended in order to receive timely updates. If you can no longer attend, please cancel your order.
