Join the Esplanade Association, REI Co-op, and Lynx Fitness Club on the Esplanade in celebration of the kickoff of Frost Fit, our winter fitness series presented by Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts, on this year’s National Hot Chocolate Day!


From 10am to 1pm, REI Co-op will be stationed in the park in between the Hatch Memorial Shell and Esplanade Playspace, offering FREE hot chocolate to the first 200 visitors who stop by in honor of National Hot Chocolate Day! Esplanade visitors will be able to pick up a printed version of our Esplanade Winter Activity Guide, in which participants can complete at least four items in this guide’s checklist for a redeemable REI mug and hot chocolate from March 3 to March 7 at REI’s Cambridge store.


Lynx Fitness Club will make their 2022 Frost Fit debut at 10am at the Hatch Shell, where a Lynx Fitness Club instructor will lead class attendees through a 45-minute, high intensity interval training class that incorporates bodyweight strength training with high-intensity cardio bursts, set to fun and upbeat music!
