Authentic homemade tamales are the real deal. They are delicious, fun, and festive. It’s a magical moment where family members gather and help assemble tamales in the kitchen. We’ll be making authentic pork tamales, chicken mole tamales, green chile and cheese tamales, and sweet tamales. We’ll learn different techniques to cook tamales and how to adapt recipes to make your own favorites. You’ll receive a zoom link and a recipe packet 3 days before the class starts. The packet will also explain how to substitute ingredients that you cannot find in your area.
In our Friends and Family Series, we encourage families, roommates, and households to attend this class and cook along together. The tuition is per device.
