Friday Night At The Movies: The Princess Bride

Friday, May 27. Curtain up 8pm.

A 1987 cult-classic, comedy, fairytale romance that begins when a kid, played by Fred Savage, is home sick from school and his grandfather reads him a story featuring swashbuckling sword fights, a good-natured giant and a vengeful Spaniard.

Starring Robin Wright as Buttercup and Cary Elwes as her true love Westley, battling to save her from marriage to Prince Humperdinck, played by Chris Sarandon.

Fun for the whole family, as chosen by public vote by fans of the Loring Greenough House.

All movies will feature English subtitles for the benefit of the deaf or hard of hearing.

Admission: $5 for adult members, $7 for adult non-members, $3 for children age 3-12, free for children under age three. Ticket purchase to benefit the LGH.
