The Vascular Care Group (TVCG), a state-of-the art practice committed to the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of vascular disease, is hosting a free vascular disease screening event at its location in Sturbridge, Mass as part of the center’s ongoing wellness and education series. Held on both June 10th at 5-7:30pm and June 11th at 9-12pm, the screening will test for Peripheral Artery Disease (PAD), Carotid Artery Disease and Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm (AAA). An ultrasound is included in the screening, and results will be provided at the end of the examination. Walk-ins are welcome.
The Vascular Care Group aims to improve patient experience with a commitment to quality outpatient care in the Sturbridge community. Those who should consider receiving a vascular disease screening include those over age 60, those with diabetes, those with a history of smoking, those with family history of cardiovascular disease and those with family history of aortic aneurysm.
