Join exhibiting artist Wendy Ming Xu for a free, exciting workshop at the Arlington Center for the Arts, where you'll learn how to build sculptures out of one material- twigs! Based on the Twig Tensegrity series currently on display in the Shaira Ali Gallery, this fun, creative process offers endless possibilities. No previous experience is required. The twigs were salvaged from Christmas trees, making this an eco-friendly and low carbon footprint activity. Open to adults ages 16+.
