Body Image Therapist Deb Schachter and Executive Coach Whitney Otto invite the public to celebrate the launch of their groundbreaking new book "Body Image Inside Out: A Revolutionary Approach to Body Image Healing" (Hachette Book Group's Sheldon Press). The free event will take place on January 11, 2025, from 5:30-7:30 PM at The Foundry in Cambridge, MA.
The event is being held in collaboration with the Multi-Service Eating Disorder Association (MEDA) and will feature an author Q&A session moderated by MEDA’s founder, Becky Manley, an author book signing, and a special musical performance by Kate Yeager. Participants will appreciate the author’s practical and lighthearted approach to a complex topic and leave with new ways to approach their own bad body image moments.
Body Image Inside Out: A Revolutionary Approach to Body Image Healing (Hachette Book Group’s Sheldon Press; 10/29/24) offers a powerful and practical approach to body image healing, empowering readers to understand the complexities of their body image and develop a more compassionate and connected relationship with themselves. By shifting our focus from fixing our bodies to learning from them, we can unlock a deeper sense of self-awareness and freedom. Think of it like couples therapy for you and your body image.
