Free Dance Studio present a free beginner Swing/Lindy Hop 90-minute workshop (we call them bootcamps). Learn the basics of Lindy Hop, the original form of swing, with some fun moves. This class is designed for pure beginners so if you've never danced before or have only have a little experience with some 6-count east coast,join us for this workshop to learn the original, fun, fantastic 20's lindy hop dance.
We'll cover:
o Basic 6-count and 8-count footwork
o Some simple patterns
- Lindy Hop Swingout and Circle
- Turns: inside, outside, tuck
- Simple jazz steps to add to your dance
o Dancing to the music
