Cambridge Community Television and the Central Square Business Association, in celebration of CCTV’s 30th Anniversary, bring you Four Square and Ice Cream on Thursday, September 20, 2018. Corporate teams and courageous individuals will compete for trophies and the coveted Right of First Ingestion: the opportunity to have the first tasting of a CCTV-inspired, custom made Toscanini’s ice cream flavor!
Let's do a visualization excercise. Remind yourself of what four square is. Remember how four players faced off, battled, eliminated, and advanced to the highest square to be the winner. Imagine how that playground ball felt and sounded, bouncing between your opponents' squares. Now visualize the kids you used to play with becoming your coworkers and officemates. Then consider registering this brand new team of four players, limbering up, and taking a shot at unimaginable fame on September 20.

All players will receive a special edition t-shirt, pre-game snacks, heaps of four square play time, access to the afterparty with food and cash bar. All players will sample the new ice cream flavor, but will have to watch as the winners get the first bite.
Timeline (subject to change):
Aug 31, 5:00PM: The team registration deadline.
Sep 13, 5:30PM: World-renowned four square expert Sean Effel will host a practice session at the Cambridge Family YMCA gym for all registered teams.
Sep 20, 5:30PM: Competition will be preceded by a “pre-game” at the court (location TBD).
Sep 20, 6:00PM: Four square tournament.
Sept 20, 8:30PM: After party (location TBD).
