Interested in learning how to identify mushrooms and other delicious local wild edibles? Join me on a relaxing walk in the woods! This class is perfect for the nature lover, forager/mushroom hunter, outdoor enthusiast, foodie, cook or vegetarian. We will review how to properly identify mushrooms and various seasonal wild edibles, discuss sustainable harvesting and local laws and collect specimens to study. Learn 5-10 edible mushroom species that are available now, as well as a variety of non-edible/poisonous fungi and perhaps even take some goodies home with you to enjoy! *Please note: If rain/weather is an issue on the event date, a rain date will be emailed out to registrants.
