This special class is a collaboration between Master Beekeeper Pete Fryckman and Powisset’s Chef Thi to share the wonders of beekeeping, how bees impact the production of food and the flavor profiles of fresh honey. The demonstration-style class includes a lesson in creating seeded honey, featuring it’s use with local cheeses, meat and fruit.
Pete Fryckman is a graduate of the Cornell University Master Beekeeper program, a two-year curriculum including practical course work covering all aspects of beekeeping and apiculture. He is the 95th person to complete this program. Pete is a member of the Eastern Apicultural Society, MASSBEE, and the Norfolk County Beekeepers Association; he is a favorite mentor to new beekeepers.
You’ll leave this class inspired, and provisioned with new knowledge, delicious recipes and an elevated appreciation of the importance of bees in our daily lives.
Included in this class:
Class limit 30.
