The bookselling and events team at Beacon Hill Books & Cafe is thrilled to launch their Food for Thought Reading Series, a series of events for bookworms and foodies to enjoy authors in conversation and thematic treats.


This month's Food for Thought event features a reading, conversation, and signing with Abi Balingit, author of the bestselling MAYUMU.


A New York Times Best Cookbook of 2023, MAYUMU is a book of fantastically imaginative remixed Filipino American dessert recipes and essays on the Filipino American experience.


Tickets include a package of Abi's much-loved Adobo Chocolate Chip cookies and a glass of wine. Copies of MAYUMU will be available for purchase.
