On October 30, The Studio in Gloucester will close out the season by hosting an epic Wizard of Oz-themed Halloween bash. With their team decked out as Dorothy, Glinda, the Tin Man and more, The Studio invites their Cape Ann friends to get in the spirit by dressing up and sliding on some ruby slippers to toast to memories from the 2022 season. At Smith Cove’s own Emerald City, country crooner Annie Brobst will serenade scarecrows from 6-9pm while the bar mixes up some potent potions. Field of Poppies ($15) is The Studio’s Oz-twist on a rum runner, made with Blue Chair Bay silver and spiced rums mixed with tropical juices and served on the rocks. If you’re looking to hit harder, opt for a Brain Shot – priced at a devilish $6.66 – made with peach schnapps, Baileys Irish Cream, and grenadine.
Following its Halloween blowout, The Studio will enter their annual winter hibernation awakening to sunnier skies come spring.
