The 12th annual Flying Horse Outdoor Sculpture Exhibit, featuring more than 50 works displayed on the 100-acre campus of Pingree School in South Hamilton, MA, on Boston's North Shore, opens Saturday, September 4 and continues through Sunday, November 28. Artists from throughout New England, New York, and as far away as Washington State, will exhibit their work for the public. Admission is free seven days a week during daylight hours; a reception with the artists on Sunday, September 19 will include a talk by Honorary Chair Daniel Joseph, founder and director of the Pickup Music Project.
The Flying Horse Exhibit is one of the largest displays of outdoor art in the region, and Pingree is the only school in the country to host such a show. A full-color catalog is available for visitors in a mailbox on campus as is a free app with a guide map that can be downloaded to all mobile phones.
