Flash, speed light, or pocket strobe: There are many names for the small external light commonly seen in photographer’s camera bags. From portraits to weddings, at home studios or in outdoor scenes, these small auxiliary lights are tremendously useful for photographers of all kinds.
While flash photography can seem intimidating, it doesn’t need to be difficult to learn—or use. Our in-person workshop will introduce you to the anatomy of the flash, the essential buttons and controls, and simple and practical ways to starting using this fundamental tool right away.
