In this class, students will learn the art of flameworked implosions! This exciting technique will be introduced by first covering the basics of flameworking. After a discussion of studio set-up and safety, demonstrations will introduce students to the use of heat and gravity to shape molten glass. The class will alternate between demonstrations and plenty of work time. Students will practice techniques for applying color and manipulating the form, then encase their designs in a clear glass ball.
No experience necessary!
Return students are welcome. All materials are included.
