Like everything else, everyone's favorite fitness studios and gyms are closed until at least May 4th. But that doesn't mean that you should suspend your fitness training until further notice. Moving your body daily is a great way to keep your body and mind sharp, and reduce stress and anxiety while staying home for another month.
The Boston Calendar's Fit at Six: Virtual Fitness Series will introduce you to a different workout and local instructor every week. Every Thursday at 6 p.m., tune in via Facebook Live or Instagram Live to challenge yourself to a virtual workout led by local fitness instructors or studios -- beginning this week with a 30-minute HIIT (high-intensity interval training) workout with Kate Brewer, one of Healthworks Fitness' favorite instructors. No equipment or experience needed.
