The Forum for Racial Equity's Dignity Collaborative in Hyde Park and the Roslindale Congregational Church is co-hosting a film and community discussion. Stamped from the Beginning is a film based on a best-selling book and body of work by Dr. Ibram X. Kendi. The film fuses stories and commentaries from leading female scholars to explore the history of anti-Black racist ideas.
Evening Program:
- 5:00–5:30 p.m.: Check-in/Meet and Greet
- 5:30–7:00 p.m.: Film Set Up and Viewing
- 7:00–7:20 p.m.: Special Remarks with time for Q&A
- 7:20–8:00 p.m.: Community Salon and Post Film Reception
Refreshments will be served.
The event will take place at our church located at 25 Cummins Highway, Roslindale (one block from Adams Park). There is plenty of on-street parking and the church is accessible by an MBTA bus route.
