For their 12th season, The Femme Show explores the infinite possibilities of queer femininity as resistance and celebration. The 2019 edition includes the return of The Society for the Preservation and Promotion of Sapphic Social Mores, a tribute to Gladys Bentley, a dancing carnivorous plant, drag, storytelling, spoken word, burlesque, and more! Audiences are invited to learn more about the rich history of femme” or “fem” as a descriptor of queer femininity. 18+
Friday night’s show is ASL interpreted.
Thursday, May 30: Doors at 7:30, show at 8, ends around 10 PM
Special Thursday discount code: ThursdayFunDay $15 table seats on Thursday night only
Friday, May 31: Doors at 7:30, show at 8, followed by dancing with DJ Lady Spindrift until midnight. Entrance to the dance party only is $5
