It's fall and with the change in weather comes the harvest and holiday season! There's the signature spices with notes of cinnamon, nutmeg and allspice. Herbs like sage and rosemary find their way into seasonal dishes and the harvest brings pumpkins, winter squash and root vegetables. Prepare for upcoming festivities with a fall and holiday cheese tasting and grazing board arranging workshop led by Life Love Cheese.
We will sample a few seasonal and great-for-the-season American artisanal cheeses while talking about what seasonal flavors compliment them. Then we learn a few tips and tricks for making beautiful grazing boards. Each participant will arrange their very own 9-inch (serving 2-4 people) grazing board using those cheeses and some wonderful holiday accompaniments.
Students can purchase Farthest Star Sake (not included in the ticket price) to sip while preparing their crafty work.

About Your Cheese Instructor:
Kimi Ceridon, the founder of Life. Love. Cheese., received her MSME from MIT in 2001. She spent over a decade in tech before saying "Goodbye" to the cubicle and going to culinary school. She has a MLA in Gastronomy and an Artisan Cheese Certificate from BU. She's also trained in cheesemaking at Sterling College alongside Jasper Hill and now she is an artisan cheese instructor at BU. Her company, Life. Love. Cheese. focuses on highlighting American cheese makers and artisans with a special emphasis on the Northeast.
