Join the BNC garden educator for some late-season gardening, harvesting, and learning! Children and adults will spend time in the Boston Nature Center educational garden plots learning about fall harvest while picking vegetables to take home, cutting flowers to dry, and collecting seeds for next year's garden. We will work together to prepare the garden beds to sleep through the winter by weeding, watering, and mulching. The program will conclude with some tasty treats from the garden while sharing and listening to stories from around the world that celebrate harvest time.
PLEASE NOTE: This program will be conducted in accordance with current Municipal, State, and Mass Audubon Covid-19 protocols. Groups are limited to 15 pre-registered children. Participants are required to wear a face covering when less than six feet apart, and when entering the building, and follow social distancing guidelines. A detailed confirmation letter will be emailed 24 hours before the program. This program will take place entirely outdoors. Please dress for the weather. In the case of inclement weather, the program will be canceled.
