As the seasons change, we need to change our practices and routines to move with it and to live a balanced and harmonious life. We are moving from the heat and moisture season into cold, dry, and air-like season. Ayuverda, the science of life, teaches us to slow down this time of year in our yoga practice, dietary choices, and sleep routine. This workshop will focus on special silks yoga poses , breathing methods ,food choices and herbs/spices that will aid you during the Fall months.
As a SWETSTUDIO instructor Kerry will guide students through the ancient discipline of Ayurveda, which is also known as the science of life, an integrated approach to physical, mental, and emotional wellness. This day of self-care, education, and healing will conclude with a guided meditation to re-energize your body, mind, and spirit, so please bring a journal and pen or pencil.
Ayurvedic kitchari and tea blends prepared by Kerry will be available for everyone to take home.
