For the past twelve years, the Faculty Artist Series has featured a distinguished collective of professional musicians who comprise the Brookline Music School faculty. Each season, four concerts reflect the diversity of musical styles and interests our faculty contribute to our community. Our 2023-2024 season features folk, classical, vocal, and instrumental music.
An Afternoon of Song features BMS piano faculty member Leah Kosch and guest artist Aurora Martin (soprano). They’ll perform a program of art songs for voice and piano, including masterworks such as Samuel Barber’s Hermit Songs and Nocturne, and Berlioz’s Les nuits d’été.
Admission is free to all ages. Located at the Bakalar Recital Hall in Brookline Music School (25 Kennard Rd).
