Face Mask is a boat party celebrating traditions of Trinidad and Tobago carnival, primarily the J’ouvert theme. It’s a lively and fun 3-hour cruise around historic Boston harbor. The 300 to 400 guests are encouraged, but not required, to wear costumes similar to those worn by Trinidad and Tobago J’ouvert revelers. Unfortunately, we can’t allow Oil, mud or painted bodies. Face paint is fine.
The ambiance will be very festive and definitely Trinidad & Tobago carnival flavored with Calypso and SOCA music provided by a DJ Zion from Trinidad and a Rhythm section known as the Engine Room. If possible, a surprise artist will be featured direct from Trinidad, such as Shurwayne Winchester or Tony Prescott each guest is provided a complimentary Face Mask. Included in the ticket cost, guests are treated to Caribbean style food catered by a local restaurant. Your ticket will be entered in the raffle for a special treat.
A well-stocked bar of assorted Caribbean rum and beer will be available at an additional cost. A face painter will also be on hand.
Parking is available across the street from 60 Rowe’s Wharf, One International Place parking. We recommend arriving early, allowing ample time to park and taking a leisurely walk to Faneuil Hall Marketplace or the waterfront to enjoy some of the Best of Boston. All located minutes away from Rowe’s Wharf.
