We are thrilled to be able to welcome you to the Wellan campus! During this 30 minute visit, you will have the opportunity to tour with a school representative, meet our incredible staff, and get a feel for what it's like to be a student at Wellan. In an effort to control group size, we ask that you sign up for a specific 30 minute session and please let us know if your plans change and you are no longer able to attend. You may park in the lot directly across the street and come up the front steps. Our team will be there to greet you. Please remember that masks are required for all guests. If you'd prefer to schedule a 1:1 tour during the school day, you may do so at www.wellan.org/admissions. We look forward to meeting you!


Wellan Montessori School is an independent, all-gender school with an age range of 15 months – Grade 8. Located in Newton Centre, the school draws families from diverse backgrounds in surrounding communities. Wellan students benefit from the unique balance of freedom and responsibility offered by the school’s Montessori-Progressive curriculum, which promotes both individually-paced academic progress and collaborative project-based learning. Empathy, community service, innovation, and social justice are emphasized throughout the curriculum. During the school day, students enjoy specials that span visual and performing arts, woodworking, technology, and more; students also have the option to enroll in after-school enrichment and athletic programs. Graduates demonstrate strong executive function skills that enable them to succeed at Greater Boston’s top public and independent schools.
