Be part of Lamplighter history as we tap our inaugural cask-conditioned Ale, "Highland Session," a delectable Session Blonde Ale artfully hopped with American-Grown Citra Hops. This incredibly drinkable ale pays homage to a Scottish classic beloved by our brewers.
Cask ale, or cask-conditioned beer, refers to beer which is matured by secondary fermentation in the container from which it’s dispensed. We’ll be serving ours the traditional way - fresh, unfiltered, and poured directly from the cask without any forced carbonation. If you’re a fan of British beer and brewing tradition, this is the event for you.
Head to our back taproom at our 284 Broadway location from 6 - 9 pm on November 10 to witness the very first cask being tapped, then enjoy delicious cask pours directly off the Firkin. This event is open and free for all to attend. However, cask pours will be available on a first-come, first-served basis, and will only be offered until the two Firkins are emptied.
Come raise a glass in celebration of doing new things, even after seven years of brewing beer!
P.S. Interested in also attending our Seventh Anniversary “House Party” on Saturday November 11? RSVP (for free) to that party here.
Please note that our taprooms are 21+ after 5 pm on weekdays and after 2 pm on weekends. Babies and kids are also welcome during our 21+ hours if accompanied by a parent or guardian. While our taprooms are family-friendly, we ask that you use your best judgment when planning a visit with children.
