2022 Has been a year of growth for PG County, Maryland-born artist Malik Elijah. After opening up fo EARTHGANG on their BIODEGHETTABLE TOUR as the PIGEONS & PLANE’S Select Artists, getting placed on Apple Music’s “BARS” editorial playlist twice, Spotify’s “SKATE SHOP” editorial playlist and being featured on This Song is Sick’s “INDEPENDENT RAPPERS YOU SHOULD KNOW”, Malik is ready for the next leap with his sophomore mixtape “DETOUR”. In collaboration with artists such as Isaac Zale, Wakai, Marco Plus, and More, Malik put his versatility on display. With no two songs sounding the same, the project maintain a familiarity as he fuses styles and switches up the energy throughout. The future is bright for Malik as he stakes his claim as everyone’s favorite up-and-coming hip-hop artist.
