Chase Murphy is Boston’s next superstar. The Alternative Hip-Hop artist first broke into local conversation with his 2017 cult-classic “Dope Deala'', but it wasn't until the following year that he caught national attention with his electrifying hit, "No Mo". Millions of streams later, the rapper has continued to expand his loyal fanbase with memorable bodies of work and distinctive visual branding. After selling out shows at some of Massachusetts’ most prestigious venues, Chase put both his money and reputation on the line in 2019 when he built a multi-level stage in his own backyard. Acting as a carpenter by day and rapper by night, the young entrepreneur put together the first “Junkyard Jam”; a showcase of local talent demonstrating the power of community. The event drew a crowd of nearly 300 people, and earned the rapper a headliner at Boston's Brighton Music Hall the following winter. In 2022, Murphy notably pushed the limits of independent touring with the launch of his “Junkyard Jam Tour”, which featured a number of DIY shows in backyards and unique spaces across the country. The Golden Boy’s blueprint has since inspired countless artists both at home and abroad, as his unique approach to live music has been nothing short of pioneering. Finding his success outside of traditional avenues such as venues and labels, Chase Murphy has progressively built one of the most interesting and organically budding careers in the music industry.
Cashus Knight is a Massachusetts artist best known for his anthemic catalog and commanding stage presence. Acting as his own producer, Cashus pushes the envelope of modern trap music, creating a sound that is as unique as it is catchy. Since his 2020 album "So It Goes", Cashus has continued to earn the belief of his peers with hard-hitting records and production credits.
BensBeenDead is a 26-year-old vocalist, songwriter, and producer based out of Portland, Maine. His style can be described as a dreamy blend of Electronic Pop and Alt-R&B, fueled by airy synths and bubbly percussion. Ben started making music circa 2018 and quickly caught the ear of his local music scene. In 2019 he was chosen by fellow Maine artist Spose to open for a country-wide tour in over 23 states. Ben has since released a number f singles that culminated in a partnership with an independent record label Off Center. Ben released his debut project "Gardening" in the fall of 2020. The project was met with rave reviews and landed editorial placements on Spotify's Chill Vibes, Chill Pop, and Fresh Finds. The following year he released his second EP "Lovely Creatures" with ALT:Vision records, which helped to solidify the uniqueness of his sound in the eyes of curators and industry professionals.
ZAAY hails from Lawrence, Massachusetts, a miniscule town north of Boston. Its proximity to one of the nation’s premiere areas for eclectic hip-hop talent accounts for ZAAY’s willingness to innovate in his music. He’s been close to the hip-hop scene his entire life, studying it to learn where it breaks down at the seams so that he could one day reconstruct it in his own image. He began freestyling when he was an adolescent to understand the ebb and flow of the genre, also to give breath to the complex mess of rap-inspired ideas tumbling around in his brain. He first began to further organize these verses into cohesive songs with hooks in February of 2016. Now, with years of experience under his belt, he’s transforming into a fearsome presence that commands attention whenever he breathes on a track.
