Russian-born violinist Ilya Kaler will be performing in a recital with works by Hindemith, Beethoven, Janacek, de Falla, and Saint-Saens. Kaler is the only person to have won Gold Medals at all three of the major string competitions -International Tchaikovsky Competition (1986), the Sibelius (1985), and the Paganini (1981). He will be performing with pianist Svetlana Krasnova.
