Are you worried about your memory or a loved one’s memory, or are you looking for resources for those who are? It’s important to learn more about the differences between normal aging memory loss and Alzheimer’s dementia or other memory disorders. If you are caring for loved ones with dementia, there are resources in Boston to help you. And if you want to avoid a future with dementia, there are simple changes that you can make in your daily habits.
The NAACP Boston Branch, The Urban League of Eastern Massachusetts, and the Massachusetts Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center at Massachusetts General Hospital and Brigham and Women’s Hospital will sponsor a FREE series of talks for the Boston community. The Twelfth Baptist Church in Roxbury will host the series, starting on Saturday, October 28th from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.. In addition to learning about the differences between normal aging memory loss and dementia, we will also present resources for caregivers, and discuss the simple things you can do now to prevent dementia. The series continues on Saturday, November 18th, and Saturday, December 2nd, at the Twelfth Baptist Church in Roxbury from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.. Join us for this exciting event series!
Breakfast and snacks will be provided. Please RSVP on Eventbrite so we can have enough food for everyone!
