Esli Honore plays gospel, Rhythm & Blues, Funk, Latin, folk music of Haiti and jazz, likes to compose, arrange and write songs, and in short loves music. Born in Haiti, Esli is a piano principal (5th Semester) and is studying Contemporary Writing & Production / Music Performance at Berklee College of music and also studied for 1 year at the national conservatory of the Dominican Republic. Influences are Frederic Chopin, Jason White, and Oscar Peterson. Esli has previously played for the Berklee Jazz All-Stars Band Five Week 2019 and used to play classical music.
This concert is presented in partnership by the Boston Public Library and the Berklee College of Music as part of BPL's Concerts in the Courtyard series sponsored by Bank of America. Registration is not required but seating is first come, first served. In the event of inclement weather, the concert will be moved indoors.
