An evening of music, dancing, meditations, sound healing, and the cultivation of a beautiful community with people like you!


Our events generally have the following format:


4:10pm: WELCOME / CHECK-IN


4:15-4:30pm: OPENING CEREMONY / CACAO / WARM-UP


4:30-5:30: ECSTATIC DANCE with a DJ on our silent disco equipment

5:30-5:50: SOUND MEDITATION OR LIVE SOUND HEALING


5:50: COMMUNITY OUTRO / HANGOUT (Building closes at 6:00pm)


A brief about what to expect from Ecstatic Dance:

There is no right or wrong way to dance; it's freeform movement in an environment meant to be free from stress, worries, or distractions. Participants dance barefoot, they dance using their movements to communicate, and they dance focused in the present moment (not on phones, but absorbed in the music). People dance all kinds of ways individually or with each other. It is a safe environment to express yourself.


We provide participants with a personal headset so you can control the volume individually while our DJ plays their set. Ecstatic dance sets usually span multiple genres, bpms and are designed to tell a story, generally starting slower in the beginning as it builds up towards one or many zeniths.


Our offerings vary each week with different teachers and opening ceremony leaders, different DJs and types of music, and different types of live sound healings or guided musical meditations as we close for the evening.


We meet at the Cambridge Dance Complex from 4:15-6:00pm.
