Erotic Collage Workshop: Embracing Pleasure and Art
Join Lavender Education and Pleasure Pie for an evening of creative expression and exploration at the Erotic Collage Workshop. This unique experience invites you to dive into the world of erotic art and personal expression, crafting beautiful and provocative collages in a welcoming, sex-positive environment. Whether you're an experienced artist or a first-time creator, this workshop offers a chance to connect with your desires and express them through art.
What to Expect:
- Introduction: We'll start out by exploring the concept of sexual liberation with a brief talk by Pleasure Pie founder Nicole Mazzeo. Nicole will discuss what erotic pleasure has to do with social justice and what that means for our own personal liberation.
- Erotic Collage Techniques: Learn creative ways to blend materials, textures, and sensual imagery into personalized erotic artwork. Create a bold and intimate collage that speaks to your erotic self, and take it home to treasure.
- Community: Share the experience with like-minded people. Come with friends, a partner, or solo—everyone is welcome!
Accessibility Information:
This space is wheelchair accessible. There are two bathrooms that are both gender neutral.
Who Should Attend:
21+. Open to all, this workshop is perfect for anyone interested in celebrating the intersection of pleasure and art. Whether you come solo, with a friend, or a loved one, this evening is a celebration of creativity, body positivity, and sexual expression. Space is limited to ensure a comfortable, intimate environment.
What To Bring:
All materials are provided! If you'd like to bring along any of your own collage materials, photos, etc. to work with, you're absolutely welcome to but this isn't expected.
A note on meeting in a Christian space:
Connexion is an open and affirming church. We know that the church has done a lot of harm in relation to sexuality and we don't condone any of that. At the same time, we're grateful that Connexion does a lot to support the local community and makes this space available for events like this. This is not a religious event.
