Join us in learning about and spreading domestic violence awareness with DOVE throughout the month of October! Since their founding in 1978, DOVE has expanded from a crisis hotline to a multi-service organization providing comprehensive direct services and support for victims of dating and domestic violence, as well as their children. This month-long series consists of four events open to both adults and teens. All events are free to attend.
On Saturday, October 21st at 11:30 AM, join us at the library in support of Domestic Violence Awareness Month for an inspiring and empowering event that will help you discover your inner strength and envision a brighter future. In this workshop, you will have the opportunity to explore your feelings, dreams, and aspirations through the therapeutic art of journaling and the creative process of making a vision board. This workshop is open to individuals of all backgrounds, genders, and experiences. Whether you have personally experienced domestic violence or want to show support for survivors, this event is for you. No artistic experience is necessary; all materials will be provided.
Registration is encouraged to ensure we have enough materials for all participants. All registration information is confidential. Register here!
Generously sponsored by the Friends of the Thomas Crane Public Library.
