Here's what you can expect:
Schedule
4:30pm–6:15pm Community Potluck

7:30pm–11pm DJ'd music by Omari and live music by Tiger Moan with Amy Kucharik
About Tiger Moan
Now in the third year of their residency playing first Sundays at the Burren Backroom, Boston's own Tiger Moan has entertained blues and swing dancers at events such as Sweet Molasses Blues, Blues Union, Yale Swing & Blues and MIT's Bread & Bones fusion dance. Tiger Moan grew out of Boston's blues dance scene and is known for covering the most dance-inducing blues standards, transforming other cover tunes into instant blues dance hits, and for must-dance originals with innovative lyrics. With Amy Kucharik on vocals, ukulele, tenor guitar and harmonica, the band usually includes top-notch musicians Michael Valdez on keys, Greg Toro on upright bass, Tim Lewandowski and Erica Risti on horns, and Stephan Chaggaris on drums. Important Information About Masking & Testing:
This event is mask optional. HOWEVER, COVID testing is required.
You can bring a picture of a negative result from the past 24 hours. We will have free COVID tests in case you need one.
As always, we welcome and encourage masks, especially at this time of year. We will provide masks for anyone who wants one for the evening.
Included in your admission:
Entry: Sliding scale, $15–40 (suggested: $28)
Volunteers attend for free. If it's your first time attending, ask for a coupon for a free future entry. Note: Our entry fee
is higher than for our regular events. This is to account for a longer rental of the venue, our live band, DJ, instructor, abundant snacks, COVID tests, and more.
Volunteers: We are looking for volunteers for this event and future ones! Please let us know if you’d like to help out by emailing us at [email protected] or messaging us on Facebook. You must have attended a previous Eclipse event in order to volunteer. Your admission will be covered if you volunteer.
Fragrance: Please refrain from wearing scented products such as perfume, cologne, or fragrant personal care products.
Other information
Street Parking: Commonwealth Avenue or Brighton Avenue. You can find a parking map here. The area marked in light blue had 2 hour parking signs for Mon-Fri, so you will be good for the weekend. The areas marked in orange are places where you’ll find 2 hour limit meters, meaning if you pay at the meter FIRST and then via the app you don’t have to come back outside to pay for the meter.
Parking - Garage: If you wish to drive into Boston but not search for parking near the venue, we suggest parking at the Boston Common Garage downtown and taking the B line to Allston.
You can pre-pay for a parking pass from us for $10 online or purchase once you arrive at the venue (you can park your car at the garage first). Pick up the pass when you check in at the front desk. First, use this pass when exiting, then insert the ticket you were issued by the machine.

• MBTA B Line: Packard's Corner - 3 min walk or Harvard Ave - 5 min walk
• 57 bus: Brighton Ave @ Comm Ave - 2 min walk; Brighton Ave @ Malvern St - 6 min walk
