We're excited to celebrate the alignment of our Eclipse and Second Sun Rising events this September 5-6-7-8 Antumbra weekend with a grand celebration!
For a full list of #antumbra2024 events, please visit our main Boston Calendar listing here.
We encourage you to come dressed for an out-of-this-world evening (and weekend). Maybe we'll see you don shades of purple, blue, pink, gray, and black, or maybe you'll shine in glitter and sequins like the s you are. Please do not bring loose glitter to venue (wearing it is totally fine). We'd be over the moon if you'd come celebrate with us. Please dance any and all roles you may see fit :) Our community is home to many LGBTQ+ friends.
Lesson from 6:30-7:30pm: All-Levels: Yes AND Fusion by Ren Enby
This class explores a pragmatic application of having a “yes and” attitude in Fusion Dance. Because Fusion Dance involves dancing with people from all kinds of different dance backgrounds and experience levels it’s easy to get caught up noticing all the ways we dance differently instead of the ways we dance the same. This class will change the narrative of judging each other as good/ or bad dancers and focus on asking what kind of “AND” do they have to my ideas, and how do I yes AND in return.
Social dancing from 7:30-10:30pm with DJ'd music:
7:30–9:00pm Nell & Kelly
9:00–10:30pm Ren
A waiver is required to participate. You can sign this by pre-registering online at lu.ma/antumbraeclipse or registering at the door and signing the waiver there.
