Happy anniversary to us – Eataly is turning 10 years old this month!


On January 27, 2007, Oscar Farinetti opened the first Eataly in a once-abandoned vermouth factory in Torino, Italy. Abounding with restaurants and a cooking school, the unique market offered a place to eat, shop, and learn about high-quality products. A decade later, this philosophy has spread to more than 35 locations across the world, including Italy, the United States, and beyond!

Savor and learn about the 10 most iconic dishes created by our chefs since our opening. Our restaurants has a selection of the classics, from agnolotti del plin (stuffed pasta from Piemonte) to fritto misto (fried seafood) to a great platter of salumi and formaggi.


SHOP
To thank you for the 10 years of support in the world, we've rounded up the 10 products that have been with every Eataly since day one, from rustic bread (made with a 37-year-old mother yeast!) to San Marzano tomatoes (grown in the volcanic soil near Mt. Vesuvio).


LEARN
Of course, since this is our birthday, there will be cake. Mark your calendars for a birthday party at Eataly on January 27! Led by Eataly USA Head Pastry Chef Katia Delogu, our pastry artisans are designing a cake of epic proportions, worthy of 10 years in the world. Stop by to ogle the edible art and enjoy a complimentary cake slice!
