Located in the Back Bay’s most fashionable quarters, Joe’s on Newbury will dish out an array of specials over Easter weekend.


For starters, there is a crab bisque with lump crab meat and focaccia ($14) and deviled eggs with paprika and chives ($13). Entrees include a braised lamb shank with baby potatoes and mint gremolata ($39); pan-roasted salmon with stewed lentils, fennel and dill ($37); and glazed ham with whipped potatoes and baby carrots ($34). Specialty desserts ($13) come twofold: carrot cake with walnuts and cream cheese frosting, or tiramisu with espresso-soaked lady fingers and mascarpone.


Joe's on Newbury also will shake up two cocktail features: Violet Fields with Grey Goose, dry curaçao, violet liqueur, Fever Tree sparkling lemon and mint, as well as Basil & Berry Bloom with Tres Generaciones reposado, strawberry, basil, agave, Szechuan pepper and elderflower.
