Wayland’s crown jewel, Coach Grill, will dish a collection of specials over Easter weekend.
The starter features are spring pea soup with bacon lardons ($14) as well as a grilled asparagus salad with baby spinach, whipped feta, garlic croutons and lemon vinaigrette ($16). Bring your appetite for the main courses: glazed ham with whipped potatoes and baby carrots ($34); lobster risotto with asparagus and parmesan ($40); and a braised lamb shank with whipped potatoes and glazed carrots ($42). For sweet endings ($13), there’s key lime pie with whipped cream, and a carrot cake with cream cheese frosting and walnuts.
Coach Grill also will shake up two cocktail features: Violet Fields with Grey Goose, dry curaçao, violet liqueur, Fever Tree sparkling lemon and mint, as well as Basil & Berry Bloom with Tres Generaciones reposado, strawberry, basil, agave, Szechuan pepper and elderflower.
